Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before engaging Neat Edge Design Studio ("we", "us", or "our") for architectural, interior design, or project execution services. By proceeding with an engagement, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Services
Neat Edge Design Studio provides architectural design, interior design, and project execution services. The scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees for any engagement will be agreed upon in writing before work commences, typically via a Letter of Engagement or Service Agreement.
2. Fees and Payment
- Fees are agreed upon before project commencement and documented in the project proposal or contract.
- A deposit (typically 30–50% of the agreed fee) is required before any design work begins.
- Remaining payments are tied to defined project milestones unless otherwise agreed.
- All fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes (GST) unless stated otherwise.
- Invoices are payable within 7 days of issue unless agreed otherwise in writing.
3. Intellectual Property
All design concepts, drawings, visualizations, and documentation produced by Neat Edge Design Studio remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon receipt of final payment, ownership of the agreed deliverables transfers to the client. We retain the right to use project photographs and designs in our portfolio and marketing materials unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
4. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide accurate and timely information, approvals, and access required for the project
- Obtain any necessary permissions, planning approvals, or consents not specifically included in our scope
- Review and approve designs within agreed timescales — delays may affect project timelines
- Make payments on schedule as per the agreed milestones
5. Changes and Variations
Any changes to the agreed scope of work after the project has commenced may result in additional fees and revised timelines. All variations must be agreed upon in writing before work on the variation begins.
6. Cancellation
If a client cancels a project after work has commenced, any fees invoiced for work completed up to the cancellation date remain payable. Initial deposits are non-refundable unless we have failed to deliver agreed milestones.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our liability to you in respect of any claim arising out of or in connection with our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific project to which the claim relates. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
8. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from our services should first be raised with us directly. We will endeavour to resolve disputes amicably and promptly. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
9. Website Use
